Terms of Service
Last updated: January 2026. Please read these Terms of Service carefully before utilizing our website or scheduling contracting services with Cape Coral Plumber Expert.
1. Scope of Plumbing Contracting Services
Cape Coral Plumber Expert provides residential and commercial plumbing contracting, diagnostics, installations, and repairs across Cape Coral and Lee County, Florida. All plumbing work is executed under master plumber supervision in accordance with the current Florida Building Code (Plumbing), Lee County Utility requirements, and City of Cape Coral municipal ordinances.
2. Estimates, Diagnostics & Authorizations
All plumbing services begin with a comprehensive diagnostic evaluation by our licensed technician. Prior to commencing any physical repair, pipe cutting, or equipment installation, we present an itemized written estimate detailing the scope of labor, replacement parts, and associated permitting costs. The client or authorized property representative must review and approve this estimate before work commences.
3. Access & Jobsite Conditions
The client agrees to provide our technicians with safe and reasonable access to the property, plumbing fixtures, water supply shutoff valves, exterior sewer cleanouts, water heaters, and breaker panels during scheduled service hours. Our team takes extensive precautions to protect surrounding floors and cabinetry, wearing clean protective footwear and laying surface drop cloths. Any existing structural hazards or biohazards must be disclosed prior to work commencement.
4. Warranty & Workmanship Guarantees
Workmanship provided by our technicians is warranted against installation defects for the specific period designated on your written service invoice. Manufacturer warranties on parts, fixtures, water heaters, and pumps are governed by their respective manufacturers. Warranties do not cover damage resulting from external flooding, severe weather acts of God, customer misuse, foreign objects flushed into drainage systems, or modifications executed by unlicensed third parties.
5. Municipal Permitting & Code Compliance
For major plumbing installations—such as whole-house repiping, water heater replacements, and municipal sewer lateral connections—the City of Cape Coral requires formal building permits and official city inspections. Cape Coral Plumber Expert assumes responsibility for filing applicable permits. The homeowner agrees to allow municipal building inspectors access to the property for required final code inspections.
6. Payment Terms & Late Invoices
Payment is due upon completion of services rendered, unless prior commercial credit terms or financing arrangements have been approved in writing. We accept major credit cards, bank debit, and approved home improvement financing. Overdue commercial balances may be subject to standard statutory interest under Florida law.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Florida law, Cape Coral Plumber Expert shall not be held liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from pre-existing structural decay, concealed slab settling, deteriorated sub-base soil erosion, or historical undetected leaks existing prior to our arrival on site.
8. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law
These terms and all contracting agreements shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida. Any legal action or proceeding arising out of these terms shall be instituted in a court of competent jurisdiction located in Lee County, Florida.
